The Homeless
Word of God Fellowship church is committed to assisting the homeless by maintaining a presence at South Wilmington street shelter since 1999. The Evangelistic team members have provided job training, mentorship and monthly feedings to shelter residents. We desire to feed the spirit man through meeting the need of the natural man.
Rest Home
The purpose of this ministry is to deliver the hope and assurance that God has a expected word that will be delivered to the elderly and the sick. Individuals upholding this ministry have the love of Christ and the anointing to heal, care and share the truth of God.
Prison Ministry
The WOGFC Prison Ministry team is committed to minister, mentor and develop inmates during their pre/post term. The pre-term process utilizes the services of Wake Correctional Center for men and Raleigh Bragg Street prison for women. All WOGFC prison volunteers for on site service must complete state training requirements. The objective will be to establish a personal relationship with the inmate and serve as a liaison between the inmate and the local church with the intent of assimilating the inmate into the church and its activities. You will be responsible for mentoring and counseling to discover unmet needs.
Street Ministry The purpose of Street Ministry is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all people as described in Matt 22:9 and Luke 14:23. The witnessing usually takes place on Saturday morning and evenings, however, participants are encouraged to perform this duty everyday.
